Crush Gear Turbo ( Japanese 激 闘! ク ラ ッ シ ュ ギ ア TURBO Gekito! Crush Gear Turbo ) is an anime series. From 2003 to 2004 a 50-part follow- up series ran in Japan under the title Crush Gear Nitro ( Japaneseク ラ ッ シ ュ ギ ア Nitro).
The series is set in a near future. The main character is Kouya Marino, whose dream is to become the crush gear world champion. His brother, Yuuya Marino, died shortly before the same dream was fulfilled.
action
In the near future: "Crush Gear" is a trend sport and all children want to be the best at it. They eagerly steer their remote-controlled, palm-sized machines (called gears) over a virtual playing field and try to force their opponents out of the field or to destroy them. Kouya Marino, the little brother of a late crush gear champion, is a member of the renowned Tobita Club, which also includes the current world champion.
However, right at the beginning of the series, the Tobita Club is almost dissolved because Takeshi Manganji, one of the best Crush Gear players, leaves the club and founds his own club, which all members of the Tobita Club immediately join with the exception of Kouya . So that the Tobita Club can continue to exist, Kouya now has to look for new members quickly, as you have to compete in official tournaments with four players.
