Coop vs. Kat is a Canadian animated series produced by Studio B Productions and Decode Entertainment. The program is broadcast in Germany on SUPER RTL or Disney XD , in Austria on ORF eins and in Switzerland on SRF 1 .

Coop Burtonburger is a ten to eleven year old boy who lives peacefully with his single father and younger sister Millie until Millie has a cat named “Mr. Kat ”brings home. Kat turns out to be a cat-like alien with evil intentions that Coop has to thwart again and again. He only gets support from his friend Dennis and Fiona, because nobody else believes him. In addition to Kat, the neighbor Lady Munson makes life difficult for him.

Cooper "Coop" Burtonburger

Coop is a ten to eleven year old boy who lives in a house in the town of Bootsville with his single father and little sister Millie. Coop's archenemy is Kat, whom Coop and his best friend Dennis have to stop, otherwise the whole world would be controlled by cats. In addition to Kat, his neighbor Mrs. Munson makes life difficult for him. He's actually very intelligent, but because of Kat he gets bad grades every time. He is in love with Fiona.

Millie Burtonburger

She is Coop's younger sister and Kat's owner. Like many others on the show, she is not convinced that Kat is an alien. Millie doesn't like it when Coop and Kat fight. Although she is extremely strong and smart, has a good business acumen and is good at any type of game, she has a more childlike character and sometimes disguises Kat as a doll and makes tea parties with him.

Mr. Burtonburger ("Dad")

He is the single father of Coop and Millie and goes to great lengths to raise his children. He doesn't like it any more than Millie when Coop fights and hates Kat, just like his son, Mrs. Munson. He's also in love with Coop's teacher. He runs a swap exchange.

Cat

Kat is a cat-like alien from a cat planet and wants to take over the world. He hates Coop and Dennis and keeps making nasty plans, but is stopped by Coop and Dennis. He has been seen to be superstitious. On his planet he is addressed as Agent 27B. Since he often fails in his plans, he is not popular with his boss and would have been destroyed by him many times.

Mrs. Munson ("Old Lady / Lady Munson")

The old woman is the Burtonburgers' neighbor. She hates Coop and Dad, but likes Millie. She lives in a house with her dog Beißer. Her garden is full of garden gnomes and if her co-op or dad destroy something she calls out “Burtonburger!” .

Dennis / Henry

He's Coop's best friend and one of the few who believe him. He's a genius and uses his knowledge to help Coop stop Kat. He hates Mrs. Munson. Henry is the father of Dennis. Henry and Coop's dad are always competing and at these competitions he often says "You'll be quiet Burtonburger soon!" Dennis is secretly in love with Phoebe.

Lion and Harley

The two siblings sometimes film Coop and Kat and call Coop "cat boy". Harley always has the hair on his face and a green hat. Lion looks a bit pompous. Her father is also afraid of the owl lake monster Bongo-Bongo. Her mother is a former rival of Coops Dad.

Phoebe

Phoebe is madly in love with Coop, but not with her. On the contrary. He's always frightened when he sees her. Sometimes she is mad at Fiona. She is very jealous and hate it when another female person flirts with Coop. She tries at all costs to get recognition. She lives with her father in a large villa.

Fiona

She is Mrs. Munson's great-grandniece and is very fond of Coop. She believes Coop that Kat is an alien. Mrs. Munson keeps telling her not to see Coop. They have kissed before. But it has only been around since the second season.

Elenore

She is Kat's friend and the female version of him. She communicates with him via teleporters and holograms. In contrast to Kat, she masters human language. She is Russian.

Mrs. Branningen

She is Coop's teacher and annoyed by Coop's constant "claims" that Kat is an alien. She is in love with Coop's dad. She is the only named teacher besides the principal and Mr. Gerber.

Mr. Cheeks

He is a talking hamster who, along with others of his kind, wants to wipe out both mankind and Kat's species. In one episode, Coop and Kat work together against him.
