Ilona Schulz

Ilona Schulz (* 1955 in Kassel ) is a German singer , actress and voice actress .

Life

Schulz studied at the University of Music and Theater in Hanover and was then appointed to the Hanover Theater. She became known for her role in the musical Line 1 of the Berlin Grips Theater and the movie of the same name. For this musical, she interpreted the song You are beautiful even if you cry (Marias Lied) in Berlin dialect , which has been covered many times, for example by Beatsteaks or Sido . She had several engagements in Basel, Bremen, Munich and Stuttgart, but mostly works as a freelancer in Berlin at the Freie Volksbühne , amTheater am Kurfürstendamm , the Tipi at the Chancellery or the Theater des Westens .

Furthermore, Schulz worked in numerous film and television productions, for example in television series such as Tatort or Polizeiruf 110 . She was also seen in the satirical program windshield wiper and acted as a narrator on several audio books and cartoons. Her voice and her ability to imitate dialects are striking ; so she lent her voice in Berlin to the little asshole in the film of the same name . She also sings and speaks the title roles in the children's radio play series The Little King and The Gruffalo and the Gruffalo Child. Ilona Schulz was one of the actors in the play Traumfrau Mutter , in which Ingolf Lück directed, and works as a playwright.
