Ilona Christina Schulz
Ilona Christina Schulz (* 1961 in Eberbach ) is a German singer and actress .
Life
Ilona Christina Schulz was born in Eberbach am Neckar and attended the Hohenstaufen grammar school in Eberbach, where she graduated from high school. From 1981 to 1986 she studied singing and piano at the State University for Music Heidelberg / Mannheim in Mannheim; from 1985 to 1988 she studied acting at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart . Since 1988 she has had numerous theater engagements in Berlin, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Detmold and Konstanz and has worked in television productions such as Tatort or Ein Fall für Zwei . Furthermore, Ilona Christina Schulz has been regularly on stage in her own chanson and cabaret pieces since 1994. She has already won two prizes in musicals and chansons at the national singing competition in Berlin and, as an actress, she is the recipient of the Lippe regional association's cultural award. In 1996 and 1999 she took acting classes with Susan Batson at the Actors Studio in New York . On November 4, 2012, she performed as a speaker in the Von-Busch-Hof in Freinsheim in a children's concert.
In addition to her work as an actress, she has also directed, for example in the musical productions Die Schneekönigin , Krabat and Turandot . Ilona Christina Schulz is married to the bassist Alexander Kunz ( German State Philharmonic Rhineland-Palatinate ) and has two children.
