The little asshole and the old sack - dying is shit is a German cartoon from 2006 based on the comics Das kleine Arschloch by Walter Moers . At the same time, it is the sequel to the 1997 film Little Asshole .

The “old sack”, the little asshole's grandfather, falls into an empty coffin at Ms. Mövenpick's funeral , is buried alive and promptly goes to hell . The little asshole wants to bring him back, but the grandfather has already settled in: he enjoys his afterlife among nymphomaniac nurses, takes a sauna and enjoys cold drinks. Even Satan, who is exactly like the grandson, has made friends with the old sack.
The grandson's attempts to free themselves are occasionally interrupted by his parents, but also because a gay couple wants to move into the apartment of the deceased Ms. Mövenpick. The little asshole's attempts to bring the grandfather back, including summoning and cloning Ms. Mövenpick's dog, are unsuccessful. The "old sack" has to ascribe the expulsion from hell and thus the return to life to himself - he is an atheist.

After the start date was postponed several times, the film was released in cinemas on October 12, 2006. Originally the start date was August 24, 2006. The film was a commercial failure and only briefly ran in theaters. The film had its free TV premiere on March 30, 2014 in the night program of Pro Sieben .

The reviews were largely negative compared to the first film.
