JoNaLu is a German animated children's series , primarily for preschool children .
Production and publication
The series started in April 2010 with the first season of 13 episodes each on TV on the children's channel and was broadcast on weekdays at 8:25 a.m., later at 9:55 a.m. The five episodes were repeated on Sundays. Jan Bonath from scopas Medien AG of ZDF acted as producer .
In May 2013 it was announced that the second season with 13 new episodes is currently being produced. The first broadcast of the second season took place daily from February 2016 on TV on the children's channel at 6.15 p.m.
action
JoNaLu is made up of the names of the three protagonists Jo , Na ya and Lu dwig, the three of whom are also known as Jonalus. They live in a mouse-hole in a house with a garden that Paul and his parents live in. They play together or go on adventurous excursions and encourage the children to join in. Values such as solidarity, friendship, honesty and helpfulness are also conveyed. The Jonalus sing and dance in each episode, with the composition and choreography being based on the respective action or undertaking.

Awards
At the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2010, JoNaLu was awarded the GIGA-Maus 2010 online award in the preschool category. This award was based on the excellent range of games and learning on the zdftivi.de website.
