The Zlín Z-143 is a single-engine, four-seat light aircraft produced by the Czech manufacturer Zlín .

history

The Z-143 is based on the two-seater model Z-142 , which was developed in the late 1970s.

The Z-143 program was started in May 1991, the prototype (registration OK-074) flew for the first time on April 24, 1992.

The machine is approved for simple aerobatics (except inverted flight ), as a tow plane and with appropriate equipment for IFR training. By 2006, a total of 53 Z-143L had been produced and sold in 14 countries.

construction

The fuselage structure, the control equipment and the landing gear are designed according to the Z-142, the electrical system and the avionics are identical to the equipment of the Z-242 . The price of the machine is 300,000 euros .
