The Zlín Z-24 Krajánek is a Czechoslovak glider .

development

The design of the Z-24 is based on the Grunau Baby , but is lighter and has a smaller wingspan . The first flight took place in 1945 and after the start of series production it became the standard training aircraft in the Czechoslovak aeroclubs . Some copies were also exported. In November 1947 Ladislav Marmol set a new national record with a flight time of 25:05 hours. Today some aircraft are still airworthy in various countries. One copy is in the Kbely Aviation Museum .
