Krzysztof Topór (born January 10, 1972 in Nowy Targ ) is a former Polish biathlete .

Krzysztof Topór, a former sports soldier from Nowy Targ , initially started for WKS Zakopane , later for NKS Zakopane and BKS WP Kościelisko . He started biathlon in 1983, ten years later he ran his first international races. He contested his first race in Lillehammer in the Biathlon World Cup . In his career, however, he could never run into the area of ​​World Cup points, the best result in 1999 was a 29th place in the sprint at Holmenkollen in Oslo . In Ruhpolding he achieved his best World Cup result with fifth place in the relay that same year. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer he started in the sprint and was 61st. 1999 Topór started in Kontiolahti for the first time at the biathlon world championships and was there 77th in the sprint and 14th in the relay race. In the competitions, which were moved to Oslo because of the weather, he reached 45th place in the individual.

The first high point in 2000 was the European Championships in Kościelisko with 16th place in the sprint, ninth in the pursuit and winning the relay silver medal on the side of Wiesław Ziemianin , Tomasz Sikora and Wojciech Kozub . At the World Championships shortly afterwards in Oslo Topór was 67th in the sprint and 75th of the individual, in the relay race in Lahti eleventh. The 2001 European Biathlon Championships in Haute-Maurienne brought the renewed win of the relay silver medal with the Polish relay team behind the representation of Germany. He also finished 40th in the sprint and 34th in the pursuit. Sixth place in the relay was also the best result at the World Championships in Pokljuka , and 63rd place in the sprint. He didn't finish the individual. Topór also started at the 2001 Military World Championships in Jericho and finished 53rd in the sprint. At the competitions in Soldier Hollow , the Pole finished 74th in the individual, 61st in the sprint and was ninth in relay with his fellow competitors in the successful European championship races. The European biathlon championships in 2002 in Kontiolahti ended his career with tenth in sprint, 21 in pursuit and nine in relay. At Polish championships Topór won the sprint race titles in 1992 and 2002.
