Denise Gorzelanny
Denise Gorzelanny (* 1954 in Berlin ) is a German actress , singer , lyricist, composer and author .
biography
Her parents are the acrobat, tap dancer and head of a school for young variety shows, Ferry Gorzelanny, and the actress Gitta Winter. Until she started school, Denise traveled on parental tours. Later, when she was housed in various families and institutions, school theater, music, creative design, languages and sports were her everyday passions. After her father's accident, she was his carer until his father's death. She got her driver's license early, took private singing, acting and speaking lessons, played her first roles on TV and on Berlin stages (including the role of the Ermengarde in the musical “Hallo, Dolly!” At the Theater des Westens ). During this time she also appeared as a singer with her first band “Dies Irae” and in a duet with guitarist Michael Geese. She obtained her Abitur at the Sophie-Scholl-Gymnasium in Berlin and bridged a semester waiting period in 1973 until she was admitted to the Berlin Max-Reinhardt-Acting School / UdK Berlin with a language course in English / Slavic studies at the Free University of Berlin .
After her four years studying acting she gained with her debut role of Gussie from the "Hofmeister" by Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz (role of the Grand played by Ulrich Gebauer ) graduated the State Bühnenreifeprüfung (1978). This was followed by TV productions (including "Thinking means praying to the devil", " Nessie - the craziest monster in the world ") and theater productions at the Berlin Theater on Kurfürstendamm and the Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz . At the same time, Denise Gorzelanny also worked as a professional singer with the live band “Guano” and through Sherry Bertram's “Compass” Big Band was continuously working in record studios for numerous LP productions and TV shows by renowned artists (including Udo Jürgens , Peter Maffay , Vicky Leandros , Roland Kaiser ). Gorzelanny was also a singer with Klaus Knapp's band “Airship” for four years, singer of the professional quartet “Wichcraft” (record contract with Phonogram , LP production “Outside Inn”, concert tour). At that time she started her second course of a four-year classical vocal training course as a mezzo-soprano (first state examination as a music teacher) at the Berlin University of the Arts (1985) and then taught singing for one semester at a Berlin music school.
Denise Gorzelanny gained her first own experience as a songwriter and composer when she joined the Berlin rock band "Artischock", with whom she went on concert tours for four years, gained competitive experience with prizes and two singles ("Rock'n'Roll Ausverkauf" / "Onanie -Melodie ”1980) and an LP (“ Besorg's Dir! ”1982).
During a five-year break from the stage, she turned to her training as a painter (training with Horst Grig, Prof. Peter Müller / UdK), became a member of the artist group ASK Berlin and exhibited her oil paintings in regular solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. In addition, she worked as a jazz singer in the Berlin quartet around Harry Ermer, “Local Vocals”. Her return to the stage and film was achieved through continuous training in acting courses since 1983 (among others with Meredith Monk and Ping Chong - USA, Zygmunt Molik - Poland, MK Lewis - USA, Karin Kleibel, Monika Schubert - Berlin, Potsdam Film Academy) through the Entry into the dubbing film business (since 1995) and the co-founding of a free theater company ("Society Players") in 2006. Since 2008 Denise Gorzelanny has been on the road with "lesART Widerhall" with readings and singing, speaks radio plays and audio books, writes her own short stories and songs . She can be seen in TV roles since 2008. a. in "GZSZ" (Ingrid Eggert), " In allerfreund " (Silke Göschen), SOKO Stuttgart (Jutta Merkle) or movies like u. a. "EMAN (N) zipation" and "Your letter to the wedding" (2011).
Since 2010 she has been sponsoring artist colleagues through regular events in her private artist salon "luchs10".
Denise Gorzelanny was married to the trumpeter Peter Tüllmann from the Berlin “Messengers” in her first marriage, her second marriage to the bassist of the first GRIPS theater band “Alarm!”, Peer Forsberg. She has three children. The two last born Nick (including Matsushita in Angel Beats! ) And Millie Forsberg (including Nodoka Miyazaki in Negima !? ) are also active in the dubbing industry.
