Bonita Friedericy (born October 10, 1961 in Charlottesville , Virginia ) is an American actress .

Life

Friedericy worked as a teacher for nearly thirteen years to supplement her income from acting. In 1996 she won the first Natalie Schafer Award. She also received the Ovation Award in Los Angeles for her role in the theater production Our Country's Good .

She became known for her role as General Diane Beckman in the American television series Chuck . She also made numerous other appearances on television series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1999), Amy Just In Case (1999/2002), Scrubs (2002), Star Trek: Enterprise (2003), The West Wing - In the center of power (2004/2006), The Nine - Die Geiseln (2006) and The Starter Wife - Alles auf Anfang (2008).

Films she starred in include Die Abrechnung - A Daughter Returns Home (2000), Par 6 (2002), Bet on Four Paws - A Christmas Tale (2005), Stay (2006) and Alien Raiders (2008).

She lives in Los Angeles , California with her husband, actor John Billingsley .
