action
The series focuses on a mysterious woman whose whole body is covered in tattoos. In the first scene, she is found naked in an abandoned bag in Times Square, with no memory of who she is, how she got there, and who did the tattoos on her without her consent. The FBI will soon find out that behind every tattoo there is a case that needs to be solved, also in order to investigate the identity of those found. The stranger, who has remarkable skills in firearms and combat, is named Jane Doe by the FBI and is integrated into the team. With her help and the encrypted clues contained in her tattoos, the FBI succeeds in thwarting various planned terrorist attacks and arresting dangerous criminals. However, in the course of time it turns out that Jane Doe was actually a member of a terrorist organization called Sandstorm , which is planning a large-scale attack on the state itself and does not shrink from murder in advance. The organization contacts Jane and tells her that the whole thing was originally their own idea; that she does not remember anything is due to a drug administered to her and is part of the plan. Little by little she learns something about her own past and meets her brother Roman and her stepmother, who is the head of the organization and calls herself Shepherd and who once raised Jane and Roman as orphans and trained them to be killers. Apparently they are criminals, but Sandstorm has long uncovered cases in which the CIA and FBI themselves did not comply with the applicable law and in turn act criminally, and now they want to fight this state injustice and corruption. Soon Jane Doe no longer knows if she's on the right side, who the good guys, who the bad guys, and who to trust. She becomes a reluctant double agent and the pawn of the FBI and Sandstorm. When Jane is sure again, it turns out that Sandstorm has a mole in the FBI and has long known that she is loyal to the FBI. Roman fails to shoot his sister, so Shepherd now wants to kill both of them. They manage to escape, and Jane injects Roman with the same substance that made her lose her memory, so that now he can hardly remember anything. However, he believes it was Shepherd who stole his memory. Roman is held captive by the FBI but, believing he is on the right side, helps fight Sandstorm while the terrorists stay one step ahead of the FBI and the large-scale terrorist attack is imminent.
