Ashley Suzanne Johnson (born August 9, 1983 in Camarillo , California ) is an American actress and voice actress .

Life

Ashley Johnson is of Swedish , Norwegian , Irish, and Scottish descent. She is the daughter of Clifford (of Swedish descent) and Nancy Johnson; her sister Haylie Johnson is also an actress.

In the 1980s, Johnson appeared in commercials before she was hired for the television series Our Loud Home , in which she played the role of Chrissy Seaver . A guest appearance on the television series Roseanne as a DJ's girlfriend followed. For the portrayal of Mary Margaret Doolan in the television series Phenom - The Tennis Miracle , Johnson was awarded the Young Artist Award in 1994 in the category Best Performance in a Television Series - Actors up to 10 years or younger ; Johnson was again nominated for the Young Artist Award for portraying Alex Marshall in the romantic comedy Was Frauen Wollen (2000).
