The Solomon Brothers (Original title: The Brothers Solomon ) is an American film from 2007 . It was produced by TriStar Pictures .


The two brothers John ( Will Arnett ) and Dean ( Will Forte ), who live in Alaska, want to grant their sick father ( Lee Majors ) the wish of having a grandchild. They find Janine ( Kristen Wiig ) with whom they will spend the next nine months.


Production costs amounted to 10 million US dollars .


The film came on 7 September 2007 in the American cinema and played a total of 900,000 US dollars one. In total, the film grossed just over a million US dollars worldwide .
