Lee majors
Lee Majors (born April 23, 1939 in Wyandotte , Michigan ; born Harvey Lee Yeary ) is an American actor .
Career
Majors played leading and supporting roles in television series such as Big Valley , The People at Shiloh Ranch . In 1974 he got the lead role in the series The Six Million Dollar Man and in 1981 took the lead role in the series A Colt just in case . In the latter he also sang the title song Unknown Stuntman . He played a leading role in 1983 in the TV movie Starflight One - Irrflug ins Weltall .
In 1992 he played Jeffrey Meek's sidekick on the television series Raven . In the 12th episode of the Jake 2.0 series , Lee Majors played a guest role as the aged NSA top agent Richard "Dick" Foxx, who despite his schizophrenia manages to put an end to a top terrorist.
Alluding to his role in The Six Million Dollar Man , Lee Majors appeared in an IBM commercial in 2004/2005 , in which a laptop with an integrated fingerprint sensor was advertised. He also starred in the 2007 commercial for the Honda CR-V , which was based on the title sequence of the series Ein Colt just in case . A version of the theme song Unknown Stuntman by the band Smokestack Lightnin 'was heard as background music.
Private
Majors is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond , Kentucky . Before his breakthrough on television, he was a driver for producer Jim Barnett , who invented the television show World Championship Wrestling . He was married four times, including from 1973 to 1982 with his colleague Farrah Fawcett ( Charlie's Angels ). He has a daughter and three sons. In 2003, Majors had to undergo bypass surgery.
Others
His son Lee Majors II plays in the fifth season of A Colt just in case in the 13th episode Your Son, Mr. Seavers, the son of the main character Colt Seavers, played by majors.
In 1976 Lee Majors and Farrah Fawcett made television history: Majors and his then-wife each had top ratings in different television series .
