Raven is an American television series produced by Columbia Pictures Television for CBS . Between 1992 and 1993 there were 20 episodes in two seasons with Jeffrey Meek and Lee Majors in the leading roles. The series' guest stars included Rex Linn , Kelly Hu , Elizabeth Berkley and Vanessa Angel .

Jonathon Raven's parents were killed in Japan by the yakuza secret organization Black Dragon when he was 12 years old. He then trained karate , infiltrated the organization and was able to kill his parents' murderers. Raven's friend Aki brings her newborn son to safety from the yakuza, but is unable to send him any more messages before she dies. He joins the US Army Special Forces and only learns about his missing son ten years later. While searching, he finally ends up in Hawaii , where he and the private investigator Jablonski have to defend against further attacks by Black Dragon .
