Kelly Ann Hu (born February 13, 1968 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an American actress of Chinese - British origin .

Career

After graduating from high school, Hu took part in the 1985 Miss Teen USA election. There she took first place and was the first Asian -US woman to win this competition. She started a model career in Italy and Japan .

In 1987 Hu came back to the United States and devoted himself to acting. After a few small series , she got her first film role in Friday the 13th Part VIII - Death Trap Manhattan in 1989 . After appearing in The Doors in 1991 , she returned to predominantly television roles. Since 2002, it has been increasingly seen in the cinema again.

In addition, Hu played the role of Suki Toyama in the video sequences in the video game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 , who informs the player about the current mission, and in Battlefield Hardline Detective Khai Minh Dao .
