Teen Cop (Original Title: Underclassmen ) is an American-Canadian crime comedy from 2004 . Directed by Marcos Siega , the film is reminiscent of the style of the Beverly Hills Cop series.

Tracy "Tre" Stokes is a police officer and is smuggled into an elite university for an undercover investigation into a murder case. The director of the school turns out to be a drug dealer who incites his students to steal cars.

The reviews of Teen Cop were mostly negative. On Rotten Tomatoes , 6% of the critics rated the film positively. The Internet Movie Database metascore service found 3.9 out of 10 positive votes for Teen Cop . The lexicon of the international film sums up: "Crime comedy as a vehicle for the MTV presenter Nick Cannon, who is to be heaved into the successor of ex-Beverly Hills cop Eddie Murphy with brisk sayings and mild jokes." The film magazine Cinema concludes: "Instead of hip-hop action, only 80s puns".
