Vanessa Angel
Vanessa Madeline Angel (born November 10, 1966 in London , England ) is a British actress and model .
Life
Vanessa Angel became a model at the age of 14 after being discovered by an agent in a London cafe. When she was 16, she moved to New York City because she got a job at Ford Models . She has appeared on the covers of numerous magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Vogue .
She made her actress debut in the 1985 film Spies Like Us , in which she starred alongside Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd . In the film King of New York (1990) she played alongside Christopher Walken , David Caruso and Wesley Snipes , in the film Kingpin (1996) alongside Woody Harrelson and Randy Quaid . She was originally intended for the role of Xena in the series Hercules , but could not play it due to an illness and had to give the part to Lucy Lawless .
From 1991 to 1992 she appeared in three episodes of the television series Baywatch - The Lifeguards of Malibu as Megan, in 1992 as Detective Peggy Elliott in The Prosecutor and the Cop , from 1994 to 1998 as Lisa in all 88 episodes of the television series Lisa - The complete madness and in 2000 as Anise / Freya in Stargate - Kommando SG-1 . She made two guest appearances in 1993 in the television series Melrose Place .
Angel has been married to actor Rick Otto since 1996 and has one child. She lives in Los Angeles .
