action

Mafioso Bill Manucci steals $ 12 million from the mafia. He turns to the judicial authorities, testifies against the Mafia and is included in the witness protection program. He and his wife Debra are hidden in the small town of Harmony in the southwestern United States.

Manucci is found by the Mafiosi in Harmony and fights against them. The local sheriff, Dex Drier, also wants to take over the stolen money. It turns out that Debra is having an affair with Drier and she was the one who revealed the hiding place to the Mafiosi. Drier learns that the stolen sum is $ 12 million, while Debra lied to him that it was about $ 120,000. Thereupon Debra is shot dead by Drier. Drier also wants to kill Manucci, but he is shot by Miles.

Miles first pretends to be an FBI agent, later he turns out to be one of the gangsters. He tortures Manucci until Manucci gives him the key to a locker. The locker later turns out to be empty, meanwhile Manucci moves with the money to the Cayman Islands.

Reviews

Ryan Cracknell wrote in the Apollo Movie Guide that the film could have been a “solid action film”, but that it “ruined” its last half hour. The jokes are almost racist in this part. The “absurd characters” would seem “a bit too bizarre”. The film is still "halfway entertaining" if you are looking for "mindless action".

TVdirekt magazine wrote that the film contained "cool action" but that its characters were absurd.

Cinema found the “perfidious plot” amusing and said that the stars “could hardly walk with their juice and strength”. The conclusion of the site is: "A really cheeky macho movie."

The lexicon of international films found Made Men to be a “ film between action thriller and buddy comedy”. He offers friends of the genre "acceptable entertainment", which he underlines, however, "with a lot of racist understatements", and "the somewhat absurd drawing of the characters" should "not be for everyone".
