Alfred Fabian Gough III (born August 22, 1967 in Leonardtown , Maryland ) is an American screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Gough was born on August 22, 1967 in Leonardtown, Maryland. He was a student at St. Mary's Ryken High School and from 1985 to 1989 a student at the Catholic University of America (CUA) . Gough is also a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts' Peter Stark Producing Program . He has been married to Beth Corets since September 1, 1996 and has three children with her.

Gough created the television series Smallville with his friend Miles Millar , of which they were executive producers from seasons one to seven. In addition, he wrote the scripts for eleven episodes of the first four seasons of the series with him. They also wrote scripts for Hollywood blockbusters such as Lethal Weapon 4, Spider-Man 2 and The Mummy 3 together.
