Tim Kelleher (* in Bronx , New York City ) is an American actor .

Life

Kelleher was born in the Bronx, New York, and grew up in Staten Island . He graduated from Villanova University in Pennsylvania . He then joined the Jesuits and worked in Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and New York.

He later left the Jesuits and began acting training in New York City. He was one of the co-founders of the theater group Colony Theater , which mostly staged self-written plays, including three dramas written by Kelleher. From the late 1980s, she made her first appearances in films and television series. For several years he continued to work in his theater group alongside his film work.

In 2000, Kelleher took on the role of Kennedy chief advisor Ted Sorensen in the docu-drama Thirteen Days . In 2008 he starred in Flash of Genius and Seven Lives .

He has been a member of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church since 1995 .

He is married to the writer Billie Livingston .
