Louis Morneau

Louis Morneau (born in Hartford , Connecticut ) is a film director . He mainly shoots B-films .

Life

He attended Emerson College in Boston . During this time he worked on the side as a director for music videos for local bands. While attending Emerson College in Boston, he began directing music videos for local bands and won two MTV Music Video Awards at the age of 20. He gained his first experience in the film business as a second unit director in the early 1990s. He made his directorial debut in 1991 with the action film Crackdown . In 1995 he wrote his first screenplay for the television film Hellfire . In 1996 he shot the action film Soldier Boyz with Michael Dudikoff .

In 1997 he shot Retroactive . For this film Morneau received several awards, including the 1998 Grand Prize for the best film in the fantasy competition of the international film festival Fantasporto . Made Men followed two years later . In the same year he directed the horror film Bats - Flying Devils . Hitcher Returns was released in 2003 . In 2008 he directed Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead .

In the summer of 2011, it was confirmed that he would direct a remake of the film Wolfman . The main roles of the film are Steven Bauer , Stephen Rea and Ed Quinn take over. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2011. In 2012 the film was released directly on DVD as Werwolf - The horror lives among us .
