Malin Åkerman
Malin Maria Åkerman (born May 12, 1978 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish - Canadian actress , singer and model .
life and career
Malin Åkerman came to Canada with her parents when she was two years old. At the age of 17 she started her career as a model. She studied psychology at York University . Her father Magnus Åkerman is an insurance broker and film actor and her mother Pia Sundström.
As an actress Akerman debuted in a series of the television series Mission Earth from 1997. In the made-for-television science fiction - action film Shotgun Love Dolls (2001), she took one of the major roles; she played another major role in The Utopian Society (2003). In the independent comedy Heavy Petting (2006) she embodied one of the leading roles. In the comedy After 7 Days - Ausflittert (2007) she played the role of Lila , the wife of Eddie Cantrow ( Ben Stiller ), who falls in love again on his honeymoon.
Akerman was on the list 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006 magazine FHM mentioned. She is the singer of the music group The Petalstones (formerly Ozono ).
Åkerman married the Italian musician Roberto Zincone on June 20, 2007 . In 2013 she became the mother of a boy and their marriage ended in divorce. In 2018 she married the British actor Jack Donnelly .
