action

A former master bank robber, Will Montgomery has just served his eight-year prison sentence and is now being overtaken by his dark past. The last spectacular bank robbery had failed and Will had been arrested and sentenced after a car chase. After talking to his daughter Alison, she is kidnapped by Will's former buddy Vincent, who was believed to be dead, and locked in the trunk of a taxi. Vincent demands his share of the lost stolen property in order to be released. However, Will never had the loot because he burned it while trying to get a mitigation. Now he only has twelve hours to find the money, otherwise Vincent will kill Alison. The worried father gets on his track, but since time is running out, he has no choice but to steal the money he needed again with the help of his former girlfriend in a million-dollar coup. He climbs six blocks away from a bank into the sewer and comes under the vault with the gold bars, where he burns a hole in the floor. As a result, the gold melts, which now enters the wastewater in liquid form, where it cools into lumps. With the gold he meets with Vincent in a disused amusement park, where Vincent is now trying to kill Will in revenge. However, Will manages to overpower Vincent and save his daughter.

Trivia

criticism

"A genre film narrated slavishly by the standards of the heist and action thriller, which offers only average entertainment in terms of the staging and character drawing."

“Ex-castle owner Nicolas Cage is still paying installments and therefore rushes untiringly through NuImage action films as a thief with a heart in order to free his daughter from the clutches of mean psychopaths. Complicated raids on state gold reserves are carried out with the casualness and speed of car thefts in this no-nonsense reality, but thoroughly effective and entertaining high-gloss action long-term chase. "

"'Stolen' is always good for an entertaining video evening, even if the story is not exactly original and you don't have the feeling that you are seeing something really new."
