Simon West
Simon West (* 1961 in Letchworth Garden City , England ) is a British film director .
Life
West began his career with the BBC in London . He later directed commercials for numerous companies such as Budweiser , some of which were awarded prizes. In the late 1980s, West emigrated to the USA, where he continued to work as an advertising director. In 1997, West finally made his debut as a film director with the action thriller Con Air .
