Josh Lucas
Josh Lucas (born June 20, 1971 in Fayetteville , Arkansas ; actually Joshua Lucas Easy Dent Mason ) is an American actor and producer.
biography
Lucas' parents were anti-nuclear activists before settling in Arkansas. As a child, Josh Lucas had to move at least 30 times because his parents always wanted him to have the safest home. Unlike his two siblings, he did not attend college . Instead, he wanted to devote himself to acting.
The first time he stood in front of the camera in 1991 in the television production Das Kind des Satans . In the following time he was seen in several films, but did not make the big break. In 1993 and 1994 he took on supporting roles in cinema productions such as Survival! and The Kidnapper . It was only eight years later (2002) that Lucas was able to draw attention to himself with the films A Beautiful Mind - Genie und Wahnsinn and The Weight of Water . In the same year he also starred alongside Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama - Liebe auf der Umwege, and in 2006 in Wolfgang Petersen's disaster film Poseidon .
In total, Lucas was involved in over 35 film projects, including a. also in the commercial failure Stealth - Under the Radar (with Jamie Foxx ).
