Jason Gray-Stanford (born May 19, 1970 in Vancouver , Canada ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Jason Gray-Stanford completed his acting training at the University of British Columbia . After various guest appearances at the theater and on television, he achieved his breakthrough in 2001 with A Beautiful Mind - Genie und Wahnsinn .

For many years, Gray-Stanford worked almost exclusively as a voice actor for children's series. He spoke various roles in Mummies Alive! The Legend Begins (1998), was Donatello's voice in The Ninja Turtles (1997) and he voiced the pterosaur Bullzeye in the Extreme Dinosaurs (1997). He's also featured frequently in Japanese anime and series, such as Dragon Ball Z from 1989.

From 2002 to 2009 Gray-Stanford was part of all eight seasons as Lieutenant Randall "Randy" Disher to the regular cast of the television series Monk . In the third season of the television series Stargate - Command SG-1 , he was represented in the episode past and present with a guest appearance. He was also a regular actor in the series Taken produced by Steven Spielberg .

In 2006 he played the role of Lieutenant Schrier in the film Flags of Our Fathers, directed by Clint Eastwood .
