Extreme Dinosaurs is an American animated series from 1997, derived from a character series by the manufacturer Mattel . It is about a quartet of heroic anthropomorphic dinosaurs and their opponents, a trio of vicious raptors , dromaeosaurs , those who plan to take over the world. The goal of the evil dinosaurs is to cause a global heat wave that is said to make life on earth more comfortable for reptiles. In Extreme Dinosaurs , the prehistoric reptiles have been transformed by an alien criminal in such a way that they have acquired an anthropomorphic form and their intelligence reaches human level. The female alien officer Chedra , a female quadrant who happened to be in the middle of the action, was added as a further character . The Extreme Dinosaurs and the Raptors previously had a few minor guest appearances on the Street Sharks series .

Characters

Extreme dinosaurs

  • T-Bone : The leader of the dinosaurs, T-Bone is a Tyrannosaurus rex . Simply put, he's the most serious of the group. While others are mostly distracted by their own interests, T-Bone is always focused. He usually always announces the "SAURIERRUMMS", in which all dinosaurs stomp on the ground andcause earthquakes .
  • Stegz : technology specialist . Stegz is a stegosaurus . His attack is like a rolling circular saw.
  • Bullzeye : joking pteranodon . Its scream causes ultrasonic waves.
  • Spike : Martial arts expert . As a triceratops , he's armed with a hard head that can smash almost anything. He is the strongest of the group. Thanks to its hard horns, it can also bend solid steel.
  • Hard rock : Joins the group later in the series. Hard Rock is an ankylosaurus . In the group he is the friendliest, very kind-hearted and understanding.
  • Ridge : A trained battle dinosaur from the planet Krat. He only appears in a double episode in which he helps the dinosaurs fight a galactic tyrant.

Raptors

The enemies of the dinosaurs are the raptors , a gang of dromaeosaurs .

  • Bad Rap : Leader and boss of the Raptors, has a brace-like device attached to his mouth. His goal is to change the living conditions on the planet so that they permanentlyresemblethe Mesozoic era . He also seems to be the only one of the raptors who can offer physical contractions to the supersaurs, the other two are usually sent to the ground relatively quickly.
  • Haxx : The fool . Despite powerful weapons (blades on the exchanged tail and on the arms), due to a lack of intelligence, the stumbling block in the plans of his buddies again and again.
  • Spittor : had sticky acid firing deviceson the back of his forearms and in his mouth, but he ran out of supplies in the first episode and he spends the other episodes trying to find a replacement. His "brain", however, is very experienced and he constantly comes up with interesting plans.

Quadranians

  • Chedra : an alien law enforcement woman stranded on earth. Companion of the Extreme Dinosaurs . If she didn't have blue skin and hair, she would be almost human. Chedra is obsessed with enforcing the law and is inconceivable without the law book of their culture, though their book (as T-Bone notes) has been obsolete for sixty-five million years. But Chedra insists on quoting from it and correcting her new friends accordingly.
  • Argor : A criminal on the run who created the Extreme Dinosaurs and Raptors from normal Earth dinosaurs 65 million years ago. He fled (thanks to a machine that he then gave Bad Rap) to another dimension when the planet was changed by volcanic eruptions.

People

  • Porcupine McVells : paleontologist and owner of a private dinosaur museum. He's used to surprises and doesn't mind the hungry Extreme Dinosaurs staying with him in his refuge. He lends them a saucepan that they use as an incubator for an egg that has not yet hatched. Stegz's pet ostrich hatches from this later. Furthermore, he gives them his extensive knowledge of machines.
  • Becky Scarwell : A discreet scientist who studies mutations and aliens . She caught Extreme Dinosaurs more than once and found out just how intelligent they actually are.
  • Peter Benning : Also an unscrupulous scientist, but one who is to be taken far less seriously.
  • Prince H : A Prince of England who sometimeshelpsthe Extreme Dinosaurs on some assignments. He also keeps her secret.
