Rolf Berg

Rolf Berg (born October 21, 1957 in Düsseldorf ) is a German film and theater actor , director and voice actor .

life and work

Theater and film

Rolf Berg was born in Düsseldorf in 1957. He has been an actor since 1977. After he had been active in permanent theater engagements for ten years, freelance work as a director and actor followed. From 1996 to 2006 he directed the comedies in Bochum , Duisburg and Wuppertal together with Jochen Schroeder . In 1989 he came across dubbing by chance ; since then he has spoken on television, radio and advertising.

He had his breakthrough in 1982 in Doris Dörrie's film drama Inbetween . Berg then played in various television series and, in addition to many supporting roles, also had a few main and recurring roles. From 1998 to the end of the series in 2011 he played Josef Krings in the WDR production Die Anrheiner , from 2012 to 2015 he was seen as Peter Jacob in the soap opera Verbotene Liebe . Since 2016 he has played Jörg Kuntze in Everything that counts . He was also seen in films. So in 2014 next to Benno Fürmann in the feature film The loneliness of the killer before the shot and in 2015 in Die Vüchsin: Dark track . Since 2015 he has played Rudi in the multiple award-winning VOX series Club der rote Bänder .

Berg is also a martial arts teacher for the Chinese Kung Fu style Wing Chun and choreographs fencing and other fighting scenes for television and theater productions.

In 1989, Berg came to the dubbing by chance and has been speaking on television, radio, advertising, audio books and video games ever since. He has been speaking in the X video game series since 2000 , including in X: Beyond the Frontier and X-Tension , and in 2002 in Enclave .

He also lent his voice to various radio play productions such as Wolves , Robocalypse and In the Eyes of Others ; the latter received the LovelyBooks Readers Award in 2011 in the audio books category .

In 2019 he read the biography of MontanaBlack as an audio book.

His work also includes various literary programs in which he reads works. He traveled through Germany with various recitation programs and won first prize at the German Literature Meeting in Saarbrücken in 1993 .

Rolf Berg is married and has three children.
