Der Wunderapostel  is a fictional film by the German director, screenwriter, producer and actor Thomas Busse from 1995. With his first work, based on Hans Sterneder 's novel of the same name, Der Wunderapostel and excerpts from Der Sunuder , Busse wanted to stimulate thinking about spiritual topics. The shooting of the lavish epoch film spanned three years. The film received its first cinema screenings in 1995.

In 2015 the footage was HD scanned and reworked. Another DVD evaluation took place.
