Karlheinz Tafel (born July 15, 1948 in Bonn ; † April 28, 2012 there ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Karlheinz Tafel began studying German and theater studies , but did not finish them. Instead, he made an acting training, which he completed with a diploma. Following this training , he gained experience in the field of theater , so he was on several stages during a tour, for example at the city ​​theater , the people's theater , the children's theater and the small room theater .

Later he worked as a director in Bonn and Würzburg . Tafel seized the opportunity to take part in the last microphone rehearsal at WDR and thus started his career as a radio and radio drama speaker. For this activity he received several national and international awards for productions ( radio play , feature , trailer and television documentary ).

He lent his voice to the role of Sir James Powell in the radio play series Ghostbusters John Sinclair .

Karlheinz Tafel died on April 28, 2012 at the age of 63 in his home town of Bonn.
