Sabina Trooger

Sabina Trooger (born April 10, 1955 in Munich ) is a German actress , voice actress and writer .

Life

Sabina Trooger is the daughter of actress Margot Trooger and actor Will Quadflieg . The stage designer Jörg Zimmermann assumed official paternity for many years . She is the half-sister of the actor Christian Quadflieg and the writer Roswitha Quadflieg .

After finishing high school, she attended a graphic school. Acting lessons with Margret Langen and Lina Carstens in Munich. In 1976 she made her debut at the Hamburger Kammerspiele . In 1977 she took part in the Festival at Jagsthausen Castle . From 1978 to 1981 she was part of the ensemble at the State Theater in Hanover . In 1981 she played at the Schauspielhaus Zurich , and in the following years at the Theater am Einlass and the Modern Theater in Munich. There she directed for the first time in 1984.

Sabina Trooger has appeared in several television games and series and in 1985 she was the journalist Inge Romanek, the opponent of Sunnyi Melles in the melodrama Dormire by Niklaus Schilling , in which she was also involved in the script.

As a voice actress, she is the German voice of Madonna , Geena Davis (in Deadly Christmas and Die Piratenbraut ) and Grace Jones (in In the Face of Death ).

In later years Sabina Trooger made a name for herself mainly as a novelist. After 15 years in the USA and Panama , she has been living in Berlin with her husband Vincenzo Benestante since 2012 .
