action

"The Legate" is a secret society founded in England in the 6th century , which has made it its task to collect and store dangerous knowledge and artifacts and to protect humanity from the evil and the supernatural. In the mostly self-contained individual episodes, the members of the legate are confronted with ghosts, demons and other paranormal phenomena.

The Legate has “houses” in many large cities. The series is set on Angel Island in a mansion, also known as the San Francisco House . Except for Rachel, one of the legate members, the other members also live there. Before the actors are shown, Derek, the chairman, speaks: “Since the beginning of time, humanity has existed between the world of light and the world of darkness. Our secret society has been around for ages. He is supposed to protect other people from the creatures of shadow and night. Only the initiated know our real name: 'Das Legat.' ” (Season 1) or “ Since the beginning of time man has existed between the world of light and the world of darkness. This book chronicles the work of our secret society known as The Legacy, created to protect the innocent from the creatures that inhabit the shadows and the night ” (Season 2 and above).
