Stalker is an American television series that was broadcast on CBS from October 1, 2014 to May 18, 2015 . The German-language first broadcast began on January 27, 2015 on Sat.1 emotions .

The focus of the series are the victims of stalking and the police officers of the LAPD in the area of the "Threat Assessment Unit" (TAU) from Los Angeles . All forms of stalking, whether in the case of celebrities or ordinary citizens who are troubled by the unhealthy obsession of their fellow human beings and who they must assume will pose a danger to them, are taken seriously by them. The head of the investigative unit is Detective Beth Davis, who was assigned to the somewhat arrogant Detective Jack Larsen, who was transferred to Los Angeles by the homicide squad in New York. The team also includes the experienced investigator Detective Janice Lawrence and the young Detective Ben Caldwell, who has raised hopes for the position that Jack Larsen has now got.
The series ends on a cliffhanger , as its discontinuation was not decided until after the completion of the first season.

At the end of October, the station ordered further episodes of the series. Ultimately, the first season will consist of 20 episodes. In February 2015, after 17 episodes, the series was interrupted in favor of CSI: Cyber . The remaining three episodes will air from April 27 to May 18, 2015. The series was discontinued in May 2015 after a season.
