Jaimie Lauren Alexander (* 12. March 1984 in Greenville , South Carolina as Jaimie Lauren Tarbush ) is an American actress .

Life

Jamie Alexander grew up in Grapevine , Texas. Her first film appearance was in Squirrel Trap . Other roles in films and TV series followed, such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia . For the series Watch Over Me she was permanently engaged from 2006 to 2007, she appeared in a total of 58 episodes. She had guest roles in other series such as CSI: Miami . For her role as Jessi / XX in the series Kyle XY , she was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2008.

In addition, she also worked in various films, such as Love and other Drugs - Including Side Effects or as Sif of the Marvel Comics adaptations Thor (2011) and the sequel Thor - The Dark Kingdom (2013). Since 2015 she has played the leading role as Jane Doe in the series Blindspot .

She has been in a relationship with her fellow actor Tom Pelphrey since 2018 .
