action
The talented but eccentric neuroscience professor Dr. Daniel Pierce is regularly used as an advisor to his former student Kate Moretti, who works for the FBI. For Dr. Pierce, these cases offer a welcome break from everyday life as a lecturer at Chicago Lake Michigan University. As he suffers from schizophrenia and the associated hallucinations , his assistant Max Lewicki is at his side. Although this illness is often stressful for him, he also often uses hallucinations to solve the crimes. His imaginary girlfriend Natalie is particularly helpful. He initially hides the hallucinations from Moretti.
