Andrea Kathrin Loewig
Andrea Kathrin Loewig (born September 22, 1966 in Merseburg ) is a German actress and voice actress .
Life
Loewig's father was a fitter, her mother a chemist. She studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and at the Berlin State Ballet School . In 1998 she completed her training at the Hollywood Acting Workshop in Los Angeles .
Loewig played in numerous television series such as Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten (1993–1994), Praxis Bülowbogen and The Moon Shines for Subtenants (1995). Since 1999 she plays in the series In aller Freundschaft the lead role of a senior physician and now head physician for anesthesia and surgery Dr. Kathrin Globisch. This role made her known to a wide audience. She also played some theater roles .
For many years she has been working as a voice actress for:
- Charlize Theron in Monster , for which she received the German Prize for Synchronization in 2004 in the category “Outstanding Female Synchronization”
- Brenda Strong in Desperate Housewives and Dallas
- Kelly Rowan in OC, California
- the girl Ai Haibara and other supporting roles in the anime series Detective Conan

- Elizabeth Anne Allen as Amy Madison in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer
In 2006 Loewig was seen in a new edition of the musical Cabaret in Leipzig and in 2007 in the musical production Lola & Sally , where she played the main female role Sally.
Loewig had their first child on July 1, 2008. The pregnancy was integrated into the scripts of the series In allerfreund, the character played by Loewig, Dr. Globisch is also pregnant that season.
On December 27, 2015, as part of the TV cooking show The Perfect Celebrity Dinner, an in-all friendship special with Andrea Kathrin Loewig (Kathrin Globisch), Hendrikje Fitz (Pia Heilmann), Karsten Kühn (Jakob Heilmann) and Michael Trischan (Hans-Peter Brenner) sent.
