Characters
Protagonists
- The Bennett family
- Jack Bennett : He was a test pilot and became Bionic-1 through Professor Sharp . His special abilities include enhanced vision, hearing and great physical strength. He keeps things tidy at home and likes to test new dishes and recipes.
- Helen Bennett : She's Jack's wife. With her powers she is Bionic-2 (originally Mother-1 ). Her strengths include her telepathic skills and her ability to create holograms .
- Eric Bennett : Son of Helen and Jack, who has loved to play baseball for life, hence his name baseball (originally Sport-1 ). Eric has magnetic hands, he can move everything metallic with ease. He also uses a baseball bat to repel enemy attacks.
- Meg Bennett : The daughter of Helen and Jack and younger sister of Eric. She loves rock 'n' roll more than anything, hence her name as a member of the Bionic Six: Rocky (originally Rock-1 ). Meg has bionic legs, i. that is, she can run much faster than the rest of the team, plus she has a sonic weapon on her shoulders. In everyday, normal life she goes to Albert Einstein High School, unfortunately her grades are not the best and she is often admonished by others that she is not studying. She also often has appointments that she unfortunately has to cancel again and again because of sudden cases that the Bionic 6 has to solve. Her best-known friend is the conceited Bim, who, however, often cheats on her with someone else.
- JD Bennett : An adopted son of Helen and Jack. His code name is IQ , a nod to his remarkable intelligence that helps the team more than once. He spends a lot of time with his experiments, in libraries or lectures, where he always learns new things. Unfortunately, with his high talents, he is usually a little too serious, which can spoil the good mood for others and has problems finding a suitable partner for life. Physically he is the tallest of all (taller than his parents too).
- Bunjiro 'Bunji' : He's also an adopted son in the family. His code name is Kamikaze (originally Karate-1 ) because of his allusion to his karate skills. He is very fit and has an elastic and flexible body and makes high jumps, air somersaults or headstand with ease even without bionic forces. He is usually in a good mood, sees practically everything (especially in contrast to the serious JD) easily and comfortably, and often laughs in many situations and matters, no matter how hopeless the fight may seem. At home he likes to watch science fiction and children's films. His state of health comes from regular training and many meditations . He is a Japanese and his real father has long been considered missing, but nonetheless he regularly appears to his son in the form of a ghost. He is the youngest in the family and also the smallest physically.
- Other
- FLUFFI : A robot built by Professor Sharp. He supports the Bennetts wherever he can, even if he sometimes creates more problems than he solves.
- Professor Amadeus Sharp : The genius behind the Bionic Six, whose research is government approved. He lives in a secret laboratory that is under his museum and also serves as a base for the Bionic Six.
Antagonists
- Dr. Scarab ( Dr. Hubert Sharp ): Amadeus Sharp's brother, his archenemy as well as the Bionic Six. He's a genius too, albeit a bad one. His goal is to achieve world domination and above all to become immortal. He is a lot bigger than his brother, is bald and has artificial glass eyes. One of his trademarks is that he wears lipstick. He changed five people with the help of bionic technology and made them his slaves. These are:
- Madame-O : a blue-colored femme fatale who is wrapped in a pink, tight suit and wearing a mask. She also has a harp as a weapon.
- Chopper : is a wild, chain-wielding rascal whose pronunciation resembles a motorcycle.
- Klunk : a huge monster that looks like it's made of living glue.
- Glove : named after his glove with which he can fire projectiles as well as laser beams. He serves as a leader in battles against the Bionic Six and would love to take the place of the gang's head (in place of Dr. Scarab). He is particularly in rivalry with Bionic-1, but tends to flee at the first sign of defeat.
- Mechanic : a dumb, beefy man who uses various tools as weapons. He has a weakness for animals, is uncontrollable and easily irritable.
