Kerry Fox (born July 30, 1966 in Wellington ) is a New Zealand actress .

life and career

Fox was best known for her role as writer Janet Frame in the film An Angel at My Blackboard in 1990 , where she portrayed a highly shy and sensitive writer falsely diagnosed as schizophrenic . She was awarded the Silver Bear at the 2001 Berlinale for her role as Claire in the film Intimacy .

Fox was married to Jaime Robertson and has a son, writer and journalist Andrew Linklater.
