construction

The broadcaster Spike produced a show for television in which the prizes were awarded. The Scream Awards were an audience award , the winners of which were determined by a fan vote, and a category award , which sees itself as a supplement to established awards such as Golden Globe , Oscar and Emmy , in which the organizers believe that the mentioned genres were underrepresented or none at all Received attention.

The first Scream Awards were held in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 , hosted by Rose McGowan , Marley Shelton and Rosario Dawson . The second show took place on October 19, 2007 in the open air at the Greek Theater, also in Los Angeles. The recording was shown on American television on October 23, 2007. In Germany, ProSieben broadcast a voice-over- translated version.
