Brian Michael Bendis
Brian Michael Bendis (born August 18, 1967 in Cleveland , Ohio , USA ) is an American comic book writer and artist.
He is one of the most successful mainstream comic writers in the past seven years. Bendis' books were consistently placed in the top five of the American bestseller list. He has also received great recognition and has won numerous awards, including five Eisner Awards .
Life
Brian Michael Bendis started out as a writer and illustrator on hardboiled detective series. He became known through superhero books by Marvel Comics , especially Ultimate Spider-Man .
His first comic book was the Jinx series in 1995. Bendis also wrote a film version of this crime comic .
Another projects from Bendis (as an author), along with Michael Avon Oeming (as a draftsman), are Powers that for Harvey - Eisner and Eagle Award nomination and Fortune and Glory , which, like Powers, the best rating (“A”) from Entertainment Weekly , a US cultural magazine.
Together with Michael Gaydos he created Jessica Jones in Alias for Marvel . In 2015, Netflix released a series based on the comic.
He was responsible for the X-Men and Avengers as a writer for a long time . He is currently writing the Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy comics for Marvel .
