from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Revue de la Presse is a language newspaper with original articles from the French-speaking press .

It is one of the language newspapers of the Bremen publishing house Carl Ed. Schünemann KG . The newspaper has been published once a month since 1954, initially by Eilers & Schünemann-Verlag-KG, which has been firmly merged with Schünemann-Verlag since 2008.

subjects

The Revue de la Presse offers a selection of current articles from politics and business , society and culture , technology and the environment as well as leisure . Each issue also contains articles written by native speakers : a few light articles, two pages of français facile and typical French recipes under the heading À table (“At table”) .

Reports are mainly about France, but also about other French-speaking regions. In terms of content, specific cultural events are conveyed that are of great interest in France or the francophone countries, but are often only mentioned in passing or not at all in the German media .

The newspaper is particularly aimed at learners of the French language. Vocabulary translations for the individual newspaper articles make it possible to read the articles - without looking up the dictionary - even for French learners with less advanced language skills.

Complementary materials

Additional exercise and teaching material ( online service ) is available for selected articles from the newspaper on the publisher's website . This can be used as a teaching aid and for exam topics as well as to prepare for the Central Abitur , as the topics and didacticizations correspond to the requirements of the Central Abitur.

Each edition of the Revue de la Presse is supplemented by an audio CD and audio mp3 files. Selected articles from the language newspaper are presented by native speakers so that readers can also train their listening comprehension. There are also worksheets with exercises for listening comprehension for some articles.

There are also thematic booklets ( Suppléments Thématiques ) in which - already published in the Revue de la Presse , but also new - articles on certain key topics, also provided with French-German vocabulary, are bundled. The following special issues have been published so far: À table. 45 recettes familiales (2013), Paris (2011), Réchauffement Climatique. Les Français face à l'urgence (2009), France-Allemagne.
