Leggere l'Italia

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Leggere l'Italia is a newspaper for everyone learning and teaching Italian.

It is one of the language newspapers of the Bremen publishing house Carl Ed. Schünemann KG . Since October 2009 the newspaper has been published once a month.

Leggere l´Italia contains original articles from the Italian press and offers a selection of current articles from society, culture, politics, economy, technology, the environment, leisure and tourism. Each issue also includes articles by Italian journalists on the country and its people, which are only published in Leggere l'Italia and are particularly easy to read and understand. The level of difficulty of the texts is divided into easy (B1), medium (B2) and difficult (C1 – C2).

The main reports are about Italy. In terms of content, specific cultural events are conveyed that are of great interest in Italy, but are often only mentioned in passing or not at all in the German media.

The newspaper is particularly aimed at learners of the Italian language. An extensive Italian-German glossary for the individual newspaper articles enables the articles to be read - without looking up the dictionary - even for Italian learners with less advanced language skills.

There is additional exercise and teaching material ( online service ) for selected articles from the newspaper on the publisher's website. This includes exercises on listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.

In addition to each edition of Leggere l'Italia , some of the articles are available for download as audio mp3 files. For every listening text there is exercise material with which you can train your listening comprehension.

In addition to Leggere l'Italia , Schünemann Verlag publishes: World and Press (English), Business World and Press (Business English), Read On ("easy English" for less advanced learners), Revue de la Presse (French), the Revista de la Prensa (Spanish) and the press and language (German as a foreign language).
