Holger Kreitling

Holger Kreitling (born February 21, 1964 in Schotten ) is a German journalist .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1986, Kreitling began studying journalism , history and theater studies at the Free University of Berlin . He interrupted this by working in the Berlin and Brandenburg administration; most recently he was an advisor to the district mayor of Berlin-Schöneberg . During this time he also gained his first experience as a freelance journalist for newspapers.

He has been editor of Die Welt and the Berliner Morgenpost since 1997 in the report and miscellaneous department.

Awards

In 2003, Kreitling was awarded the Theodor Wolff Prize in the “General” category for the contribution “The Energy Poet”, which was printed on May 25, 2002 in the newspaper Die Welt .
