Marley Eve Shelton (born April 12, 1974 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .
life and career
Shelton was born with the profession of actress. As the daughter of producer and commercial filmmaker Christopher Shelton, getting into the film industry was easy for her, even though she wasn't initially interested in living a life on stage.
Ultimately, however, she got into the film industry and starred in the film Grand Canyon - In the Heart of the City even before studying at the University of California . To finance her studies, Shelton took on minor roles in film and television, including in 1995 in Nixon . Shelton made her international breakthrough in 1998 alongside Tobey Maguire in Pleasantville - Too Good to Be True and in 1999 alongside Renée Zellweger in The Bachelor . In 1999 she played a very revealing and wicked role in Evil Affairs alongside Dennis Hopper . In 2000, she starred in the teen comedy Sugar & Spice opposite Mena Suvari . However, the role of pregnant cheerleader Diane Weston didn't help her make the big leap to Hollywood . In 2001 she took on a role in the thriller Scream If You Can . This role was also quickly lost. In 2005 Shelton starred in the film Sin City in a supporting role alongside Jessica Alba , Bruce Willis and Clive Owen . In 2007, she starred in the movies Terror Planet and Death Proof Grindhouse from directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino with. In 2009 she starred in A Perfect Getaway alongside Milla Jovovich . In 2011 she played the role of Deputy Judy Hicks in Scream 4 alongside Courteney Cox , Neve Campbell , David Arquette and Hayden Panettiere, among others .
She has been married to producer Beau Flynn since 2001.
