Just a Kiss is an American comedy film from 2002 . Directed by Fisher Stevens , the script was written by Patrick Breen based on his own play.
action
Dag breaks up with his girlfriend Halley. His friend Peter, who works for a local television station, meets Rebecca, who both find equally attractive. Meanwhile, the bartender Paula falls in love with Peter. To make him jealous, she seduces Dag, which throws the men's friendship into a crisis.
Peter comforts himself with Colleen. Colleen is married to Andre, who is one of Rebecca's lovers. Andre ends up dating Halley.
Reviews
Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times of October 18, 2002 that the film mixed many styles for which there was actually no obvious reason. The characters are represented two-dimensionally - in a way that could only work in “ Roger Rabbit films ”.
David Hunter wrote in The Hollywood Reporter on September 26, 2002 that the film was " just another comedy about sex and relationships from the early 21st century, " but that it was " entertainingly dark ", devoid of outdated situations and characters to fall back on. He speaks to adult viewers.
Rotten Tomatoes wrote that the film was neither touching nor funny.

Fisher Stevens won an award from the Portuguese Festival Internacional de Cinema de Tróia (Festróia) in 2002 . He was nominated for the US Gotham Award in 2002.
