Fisher Stevens
Fisher Stevens (born Steven Fisher on November 27, 1963 in Evanston , Illinois ) is an American actor , director , screenwriter and producer .
Life
Stevens began his career as a stage actor at the age of 14. Since then he has appeared in over 20 Broadway productions. In 1981 he made his film debut in the horror flick Burning Vengeance . In the mid-1980s he starred in Number 5 Lives! and number 5 doesn't give up . In 1989, Stevens was an opponent of Peter Falk in Columbo - The Forgotten Dead . On television, he was seen alongside Kyle Chandler in Alone Against the Future and in the fourth season of Lost .
The film The Bay , produced by Stevens, won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Documentary. In late June 2017, Stevens became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences .
