Ron Eldard

Ronald Jason Eldard (born February 20, 1965 , on Long Island ) is an American theater and film actor.

Life

Ron Eldard is the second youngest of seven children. His mother died in a car accident when he was young. Because of this, he and his siblings grew up in different families. He graduated from the prestigious New York High School for the Performing Arts . Prior to his acting career Eldard was a Golden Gloves - Boxer . He still does many sporting activities today, e.g. B. Jiu Jitsu .

Eldard met his former partner Julianna Margulies in 1991 in an acting group. They later starred together on the NBC series Emergency Room , where Eldard played a medic named Shep. They also played together in the 2002 film Ghost Ship . Their relationship ended in 2003.

Eldard has also appeared in several highly regarded Broadway theatrical productions such as "Doubt" in 2006. In 2013 he took on the role of the unscrupulous ex-military policeman Colton Rhodes in Justified .
