Stephen Moyer
Stephen Moyer (born October 11, 1969 in Brentwood , England ; born Stephen Emery ) is a British actor .
Life
Moyer made his debut in the British television series Conjugal Rites in 1993 , in which he played one of the bigger roles. He took the title role in the fantasy adventure film Prince Eisenherz (1997), and in the historical drama Quills (2000) he appeared alongside Geoffrey Rush and Kate Winslet . He played one of the leading roles alongside Anne Parillaud in the action thriller Deadlines (2004); in the thriller 88 minutes (2007) he was seen alongside Al Pacino and Leelee Sobieski .
From September 2008 to August 2014, Moyer starred as the vampire Bill Compton on the HBO series True Blood , based on the Sookie Stackhouse book series by Charlaine Harris . He is in a relationship with Anna Paquin , on August 21, 2010 the two married in Malibu. In September 2012 they became parents of twins.
Moyer is also the father of a son born in 2000 and a daughter born in 2002.
